The Craftsman Ale House in downtown Harrison has quickly established itself as Westchester’s go to bar for craft beer lovers. With 8 constantly rotating craft beers on tap, your thirst for hops and barley will not go wanting here. The Craftsman’s knowledgeable staff can also help guide newcomers through their amazing bottle list of more than 100 craft beers from across the U.S. From the kitchen comes a delectable selection of exceptional bar food like buffalo wings and mac n’ cheese, but it’s really known for its hand crafted burgers, which are second to none. From home brewer meetings to brewery take-overs it seems like there is always something going on at the Craftsman, there are even education classes for those who just want to know more. Beer is more than a thirst quencher at the Craftsman Ale House, It’s a way of life.  We invite you to tour our site and discover The Craftsman Ale House experience. Drink Local!!

If it Ain’t Broken, Don’t Drink it

November 14th at 7pm

One of the questions we get asked the most about our events is “when are you guys going to have so and so”. A lot of the time it’s in reference to a brand new brewery. Our most common response to that question is…when they’re ready. And you know what makes them ready most of the time….when they’ve got 8 beers. Simple as that. With all that being said, guess who’s got 8 beers and taking over the taps at the Craftsman Ale House. If you haven’t figured it out by the slogan that titles this event, we’ll tell you. It’s Broken Bow. You guys have asked repeatedly, and they have responded to our demands (in a manner of speaking) So come join us and meet our friends from Broken Bow, as they’ll be on hand en force to talk about local brewing.

The List:

Wet Hopped Cascade IPA

Broken In Russian Imperial Stout

Octoberfest

Cherry Wood Red

Parson's Glebe

Broken Heart Stout

Marbledale APA

Broken Auger Lager

8 Ducks a Rushing

November 21th at 7pm

One of our favorite events we do every year is with our good friends from Rushing Duck.  Not only do they send us awesome beer all year round, but they do these one-offs and specialty kegs and send them too.  Of course we don’t pour them when we get them.  Instead we collect them and when we have 8, it’s party time.  This particular party starts at 7pm on November 21st.  We’ll post the list when we dig the kegs out of the cooler and see what they are.

The Blackest of Fridays

November 28th at 7pm

Join us Friday November 28th at 7pm and help us and Goose Island release Bourbon County to the world.  Black Friday is Bourbon County release day and we’re proud to be a chosen release location.  What does that mean you ask.  It means that our typical Friday Night Tap take over just got blacker with all 4 Bourbon County Brand varietals.  Bourbon County Stout, Bourbon County Barleywine, Bourbon County Coffee, and Bourbon County Vanilla.  For those of you faint of heart we will also have 4 other great beers from Goose Island…The Illinois, The Ogden, Sofie and 312 Urban Wheat.

KILL THE KEG

SATURDAYS AT 7 PM:

Every Saturday Night is Kill the Keg Night (special events excluded). Starting at 7pm we offer up a brand new Keg to Be Sacrificed to the beer Gods.  Pints (serving size may vary) are $3 until the keg is killed.  Get there early because once it’s gone its gone.

There's no admission, its pay as you go. So come early and come often.

Our Menus: Burgers and Specials

Beer comes first at the Craftsman Ale House but we also take our burgers very seriously.  We have worked hard to develop a menu that features hand crafted burgers, jumbo sized wings, mac n' cheese of the day and always something beer battered.  What better to pair with all those craft beers?

Check out our menus.

Our Beer List: Only the Finest

The Craftsman Ale House is well known for one of the best Craft Beer Lists in Westchester.  We feature 8 rotating draught beers and nearly 100 bottles.  All Craft, All the time.  Our favorite breweries are local but if it's American, it's Craft and it's available, we'll probably get it. We also take requests so if you can't find it, we will.

Planning a Special Event?

We love having events at the CAH, but we don’t always have to hog all the attention. If you're planning a special event the Craftsman Ale House can host your next birthday party, holiday gathering, or private beer tasting.
